Short Briefing

Chien-Kuo Teng(鄧建國) Ph.D. was a Professor from the Department of Design of National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei. He was received his Ph.D. & Master’s degree from IAA of National Chiao Tung University. It was over 20 years joint to build the performance for SCID (Dep. of Industrial Design of Shih Chien University, Taipei) from 1994. His research was interests include: product design, curating of exhibition, emotional design and creative thinking. He was passion for active design work, collaborating with others, instruct students imagination to create design value and as a curator & coordinator for design exhibition since 1994 to 2020. It was involved for many international exhibition as example: Product Design Madrid (PDM, Spain, 2013), The 6th Cross-strait(Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair(China, 2013), , International Design Fair of Furniture “Abitare il Tempo”(Italy, 2000) and design exhibition of “Design: The Next Generation” (Japan, 1997). Taipei World Design Expo(Taipei, 2011), Without Computer for NTNU Exhibition at SungSan Culture Park(2018). He was author for published two academic books for Creative design work, academic research as: Bulletin of Japanese Society for Science of Design(2012), Journal of Design(2008)THCI, and book chapters published on Lecture Notes in Computer Science(2011), Lecture Notes in Information Technology(2012), CCIS(2013), and more over 60 conference papers was published.
