2025 Yacht & Marine Vessels Design Award Silver Award
Project Description:
The luxury hydrofoil hydrogen yacht “OSCURA”, inspired by the orca, embodies both elegance and power. Measuring 44 meters in length, it is primarily powered by hydrogen energy, with tidal and ocean current systems serving as auxiliary sources, emphasizing sustainable navigation. Its streamlined hull, integrated with hydrofoil technology, allows the yacht to lift above the water at high speeds, reducing energy consumption and enhancing efficiency.
The interior layout balances shared and private spaces, offering both comfortable social areas and secluded zones for rest. The yacht’s exterior features a striking black-and-white contrast that echoes the orca’s imagery, while the interior adopts a wraparound panoramic window design to create a bright and open atmosphere.
Overall, OSCURA represents a vision of future ocean travel where luxury, sustainability, and harmony with nature coexist seamlessly.
